Why solid-state, not ordinary lithium-ion?

Solid-state cells use a non-flammable solid electrolyte and pass puncture and overcharge abuse tests without fire, making them far safer than conventional lithium-ion. Units are built to UN38.3 transport requirements; always check the mAh/Wh limit of your airline.
