Rechargeable coin cell design
As a secondary cell the MT621 is charged in circuit — from the main supply, a solar cell or an energy-harvesting front end — and supports many charge/discharge cycles with low self-discharge. That makes it suited to backup and light-powered designs where a primary cell would need replacing.
