Why BR chemistry for high temperature
BR cells use a lithium poly-carbonmonofluoride system that holds a stable discharge voltage across an exceptionally wide band and tolerates continuous operation to +125°C, where a standard CR cell would degrade. Self-discharge is very low, so a BR cell supports long-life designs that must survive under-bonnet heat, industrial process environments or sealed enclosures.
